On 31 January 2015, The Th\u0103ng Long- H\u00e0 N\u1ed9i Heritage Conservation Centre worked with the Th\u0103ng Long – H\u00e0 N\u1ed9i Cultural Heritage Association to inaugurate the bonsai and flower exhibition at Th\u0103ng Long Imperial Citadel heritage site, as part of the celebration of the 85th<\/sup> anniversary of the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the New Year 2015.<\/p>\n

The bonsai and flower exhibition, which was held in the vast area in front of the Main Gate (\u0110oan M\u00f4n), introduced to the public about 850 bonsai artworks. This is a fairly large-scaled and diverse exhibition, with the participation of many members of the Hanoi Bonsai and Penjing Association, Th\u0103ng Long Bonsai Association, Bonsai Club, bonsai artisans from different districts like \u0110an Ph\u01b0\u1ee3ng, T\u00e2y H\u1ed3, Thanh tr\u00ec, Gia L\u00e2m, Ho\u00e0i \u0110\u1ee9c, H\u00e0 \u0110\u00f4ng, and neighboring provinces like H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng, B\u1eafc Giang, H\u01b0ng Y\u00ean, and B\u1eafc Ninh.<\/p>\n

Many original bonsai artworks displayed here have really attracted the attention of sightseers and bonsai connoisseurs. Examples include such bonsai design as the two dragons facing the moon, the welcoming cypress, the green bamboo-like plant, the mother-and-child plant, the banyan and wharf, among others. The exhibition also put on display a variety of flowers, orchards, L\u1ea1ng S\u01a1n peach tree, T\u00e2y H\u1ed3 peach and kumquat trees.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is open from 31 January 2015 to 6 March 2015.<\/p>\n
