The revolutionary relics House and Tunnel D67 is located in the central background of Kinh Thien Palace (Thang Long Imperial Citadel), is the site of many key events associated with the milestones of the great war against America of our army and people.
One of those events is the expanded politburo conference, held from 01.08.1975 to 18.12.1974. The conference made an important decisive resolution regarding the war against America: “we are facing major strategic opportunity; we have never had full military and political conditions and significant strategic opportunity as at present, to complete the national democratic revolution in the South, for the national peace and reunification.” The conference adopted a two-year 1975 – 1976 strategic plan and stated “If the chance comes at the beginning or at the end of 1975, the liberation of the South shall be implemented in 1975.“
About the event, the memoir “headquarters in the spring of triumph”, General Vo Nguyen Giap wrote “The flat-roof house hidden under the dense foliage with the fortified working bunkers, where important and secret meetings of the Politburo and Central Military Committee occurred, today witnesses a decisive historic event. Last time, the will and wisdom of the Party is highly concentrated, make plans and determined to win completely”.
