Invitation to join in the program entitled ‘I am archaeologist” 2014
In 2013, Center for Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Preservation and UNESCO Hanoi Office successfully held the educational program “I am archaeologist” in the heritage site of Thang Long Imperial Citadel. The learning-through-play program has achieved initial success and received positive feedback from the participants.

In 2014, Center for Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Preservation continues holding this educational program. This is a useful playground for the students to learn the outstanding values of cultural heritage site. Through the program, students have the opportunity to become familiar with excavation tools, how to identify the presence of relics, antiques exposure, interaction with Vietnamese archaeologists.
Besides, the program is a good opportunity for students to practice conditional precious qualities of archaeologists as the passion, creativity, perseverance, meticulous … which is necessary in their study and work later.
- Participants: Students aged from 10 to 11
- Duration: From 20/9 to 31/12/2014 (Saturdays and Sundays)
Center for Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Preservation hopes to attract the participation of the majority of parents and students to such a useful and interesting program.
