Photo exhibition on Hanoi
A photo exhibition by Vietnamese and international photographers will open at Hanoi Goethe Institute from April 15- 18.
At the exhibition, the photo book “List and Found Hanoi” published by Thing Asian Press will also make debut on the same day.
This photo exhibition records the everlasting beauty of continual changing metropolis. To the exhibition, visitors will enter into living space tucked away in alleys and have a chance to study the architecture that has developed over the centuries, and the graphic design that has become an integral part of the urban landscape. In addition, people can watch Hanoian who are savoring a sidewalk meal, rushing off in a wild river of traffic, and working at jobs that have existed forever and at new occupations that will change the city.
All photographers will be present at the opening of the exhibition and share their works. Particularly, discounted copies of “Lost and Found Hanoi” will be made available.
The photo book of Elisabeth Rush is edited by Janet McKelpin with photographical works of Aaron Joel Santos, Elisabeth Rush, Nguyrn Thanh Hai (Maika Elan), Nguyen The Son, Matthew Dakin (Published by Thing Asian Press in 2014).
