Some key tasks of Thang Long – Hanoi Cultural Heritage Conservation Centre in 2012

In 2012, together with regular preservation and rehabilitation of the site, the Thang Long – Hanoi Cultural Heritage Conservation Centre shall focus on continually boosting the reinforcement of mechanism, heightening capacity of professional staff; speeding up the receipt of handing-over, integrating management of Thang Long Imperial Citadel heritage under the Government’s commitments; studying to return space of Kinh Thien Palace, restore Quang Chieu lantern festival; completing two projects of preservation and improvement of Co Loa and Hanoi Ancient Citadel vestiges.

In 2011, the Thang Long – Hanoi Cultural Heritage Conservation Centre established project on enhancement of organizational structure of the Centre; completing the handing-over and receipt of Zones A-B (18 Hoang Dieu archaeological monuments); expanding archaeological excavation at the ancient citadel; boosting propaganda, advertisement and improvement of heritage; expanding international cooperation; organizing many special conferences and receiving and serving visitors…
