90 art performances for welcoming spring 2014

Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has planned to hold art performance activities for the public to welcome the lunar new year 2014 and mark the 84th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3/2/1930 – 3/2/2014).

There will be some 30 performances on 30th January 2014 (or New Year’s Eve) and 60 others on 3rd, 4th, 5th February 2014 (Or 4th, 5th, 6th January, according to lunar calendar).

The performances will take place around the fireworks shooting area, stages, cultural centers, residential quarters, remote and distant regions in 29 districts of the city.

The program includes the participation of professional art units from Hanoi, Central, Military, Public Security, Thang Long Song Music and Dance Theater, Hanoi Drama Theater, Hanoi Circus, Hanoi Golden Bell Theater, Hanoi Cheo Theater, Art Troop of Border Guard, and those of other provinces such as Thai Binh Golden Bell Troop, Nam Dinh Golden Bell Troop.
