Youth delegations from 11 ASEAN countries visit the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long
Within the framework of the ASEAN youth Festival to welcome the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in Vietnam, youth delegations from 11 ASEAN countries visited the world heritage site of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in the afternoon of May 7th, 2022.
This meaningful activity aimed to introduce the millennial cultural-historical values of Thang Long – Hanoi to international friends and welcome the 31st SEA Games which is held in Vietnam.
During the visit, the delegations offered incense in Kinh Thien Palace and visited Doan Mon monuments and artifact galleries, and especially, learned about revolutionary monuments of the Ho Chi Minh era in the heritage site, including D67 House and Underground Bunker and “General Van Tien Dung – A General of Ho Chi Minh era” exhibition. The visit to the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long left the youth delegations from ASEAN countries with very good impressions.
