Thang Long Imperial Citadel Pioneers Digital Technology in Heritage Conservation and Promotion
In recent years, the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre has continuously promoted the application of digital technologies to enhance the conservation and promotion of the World Heritage Site of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. These innovations provide visitors with modern, convenient, and interactive experiences, while bringing the thousand-year history of Thang Long closer to both domestic and international audiences.
One of the Centre’s notable initiatives is the implementation of an electronic ticketing system and Auto Ticket Booths, enabling visitors to purchase tickets quickly and conveniently through multiple payment methods, including online payments and cashless transactions on-site. Integrated QR code scanning further streamlines the ticketing process, improving service quality and enhancing the overall visitor experience.
