Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue offered the incense in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long
In the morning of February 9th, 2022, Politburo Member and Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue came to Kinh Thien Palace – the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in order to offer the incense to commemorate the ancestors who had great contributions to the country on the First day of Spring.
Representatives from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam include Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Secretary-General of the National Assembly, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Office and leaders of some agencies of the National Assembly.
Representatives from Hanoi city include Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Assembly; Mr. Chu Xuan Dung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee; and leaders of some departments and agencies of Hanoi city.
In the sacred atmosphere in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, Chairman of the National Assembly, and other representatives respectfully offered the incense to commemorate the ancient kings and the talented people who had great contributions to the country; they also prayed for the nation’s peace, people’s safety and an increasingly developing country.
The leaders were determined to promote the thousand-year tradition and civilization of Thang Long – Hanoi, precious heritage values of the country; to encourage the aspirations of developing a prosperous and happy country, bring into play the will and strength of the great national unity combined with the strength of current time; to comprehensively and synchronously promote the renovation, industrialization and modernization; to firmly build and protect the fatherland, maintain the peaceful and stable environment for the sake of a prosperous, democratic, equal and civilized Vietnam.
Visiting and wishing New Year’s greetings to the staff and officers of the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is the hallmark of the millennial history, where the sacred souls of rivers, mountains and the cultural quintessence of the people gathered, where successive dynasties expanded territory, developed and protected the country. His wish is that the staff and officers of this Relic site continue to do a good job in conservation and promotion of the cultural heritage value of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, contributing to the building of the thousand-year-old Capital of Hanoi.
