Thăng Long Imperial Citadel is a complex of relics associated with the Lý – Trần – Lê Mạc dynasties and the history of Thăng Long. 1010 years since King Lý Thái Tổ issued an edict to move the capital from Hoa Lư (Ninh Bình) to Đại La and renamed it Thăng Long, the capital city has undergone many development milestones, increasingly asserting its position as the land of talent, the Centre of cultural convergence and national resources. In addition, it is also the city for peace and aims to become a creative city in the future.
