Photo Tour 2015 is jointly organized by the Club of World Heritage Sites in Vietnam, the Heritage magazine – Vietnam Airlines, UNESCO Office in Hanoi and the management boards of the world heritage sites. For the first time, a substantial group of professional photographers meet to contribute to an enhanced visibility of the world heritage sites in Vietnam. Within a 10-day field trip, they will spend their time on creative work, taking pictures of some of the most spectacular and magnificent scenes at the Thăng Long Imperial Citadel, Tràng An Landscape Complex, the Citade of the Hồ dynasty, and Hạ Long Bay.

This programme is expected to speed up efforts to promote the image of world heritage sites in Vietnam inside and outside the country while generating a rich and high quality collection of photos conducive to the communication of the sites’ values. It is also a good opportunity for staff members at the heritage sites and the professional photographers to engage in useful exchange of experience in producing quality photography.

Upon the conclusion of the programme, the organizing committee will single out the most representative photos to be displayed at the Thăng Long Imperial Citadel.
