52 thousand tourists have visited Thang Long Imperial Citadel

A news from Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre revealed that, in the first 5 months, the Centre has received and guided many domestic and international visitors to work and visit at the heritage site.

Up to 18/5/2014, the number of visitor to the heritage site is 52,000 people (including those who went to visit, attend the events and those who visit the site free of charge);

The Centre has also welcomed many high-rank delegations and organized many cultural events.

As revealed by Center for Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation, the regular and long-term duties and international commitments for the heritage site have been being seriously maintained such as: periodic reports as required by ICOMOS, open for receiving visitors; regular maintenance of the exhibition house, systems of electricity, water supply, light, sanitation, environment; in coordination to develop researches and archeological excavation;

The Centre has maintained a good coordination and cooperation with specialized domestic and international agencies, units and organizations in training, studying, implementing projects, plans which have made significant contributions to ensure and improve quality and value of the programs.

In order to meet the needs of sightseeing, learning about Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Centre opens its door everyday, maintains regular and periodical on-duty task, protects and maintains the relics, items, equipments and facilities, operates the exhibition house covering 08 displaying zones on an area of 2,500m².
