Enjoying cherry blossoms in Hanoi
The cherry blossoms festival 2014 was opened at Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center, Giang Vo, Hanoi on March 8.
Cherry blossoms festival has been held annually in Hanoi since 2007.
The festival covers Japanese atmosphere and culture with activities such as folk dances, games, art or cosplay which feature Japanese identities.
The event 2014 in Hanoi is highlighted with exciting Yosakoi performed by teams of Vietnam and Japan.
Moreover, the festival showcases many Japanese traditional culture activities such as: demonstrations of Kendo, Aikido, arts of Cosplay, Origami…
Especially, the cherry blossoms from the country of sunrise have come to Vietnam.
Folk games and traditional dishes of both countries are also introduced to the public.
The activities under cherry blossoms festival 2014 will take place from 9:00 am to 21:00 pm on March 8-9.
