Thăng Long Imperial Citadel – The Heritage Destination of 2019
Thăng Long Imperial Citadel – The Heritage Destination of 2019
During the first days of 2019, visitors to Thăng Long Imperial Citadel find themselves greeted with a new, unique and meaningful check-in spot. The heritage symbol is created from thousands of bricks and tiles unearthed after successive excavations over many years and arranged to form a wall representing the thousand-year layered history of Thăng Long – Hà Nội. This is also an indication of the great efforts made by the Thăng Long – Hà Nội Heritage Conservation Centre to bring tourists new experience of the precious artifacts bequeathed to us by our forefathers.
Through this original check-in spot, thousand-year-old subterranean artifacts continue to tell their stories in the modern and contemporary life of the visitors, especially young people.
